  Rebecca Cota will be teaching the May 11 course.

Rebecca Cota, MA became interested in natural childbirth preparation while pregnant with her first daughter who was later born by the Bradley Method in 1999.  The sense of empowerment for mother and the implications for health and lifelong family bonds spurred her interest in helping other couples to have a positive birth experience.  She has worked as a Labor Support Doula in the State College area since 2001, which has given her further hands-on knowledge of the birthing process. Now after completing the Bradley Method Teacher Training,  Rebecca brings 8 years of prior teaching experience to preparing couples for unmedicated natural childbirth here at the Center.  Her most recent experience in the field has been the unmedicated, natural birth of her second daughter, Nadia on October 24, 2004.
