Yoga Practice for Women - Sunday October 6, 2013 - 4pm to 6pm
The time of a woman’s menstruation allows a pause from one’s normal rhythm of energy and activity. A restorative yoga asana practice rests the body, builds up energy, and balances hormones and emotions. A classic menstruation sequence will be practiced, as well as yoga suggestions for practicing pre and post menstruation.
Working Toward Handstand - Sunday November 10, 2013 - 4pm to 6pm
Adho Mukha Vrkasana (handstand) is an invigorating and challenging yoga asana. In this workshop, we will practice a sequence that prepares the body for independently coming into and sustaining this pose. Beginner variations of the pose will be explored and taught also. No experience with handstand is necessary. Come as you are and find your own level of achievement in handstand and its variations.
Headaches - Sunday December 8, 2013 - 4pm to 6pm
Headaches are commonly the result of accumulated muscle tension and fatigue in the neck and shoulders. A thoughtful yoga asana practice can ease tension and stress, and relax the brain and nerves. Join us for this calming headache-remedy sequence.
This five week series is designed for people with no prior yoga experience.
Learn beginning yoga poses, breathing and relaxation techniques. Emphasis
on posture, alignment, and body awareness. No one is "too stiff" or out of
shape. Beginners are encouraged to take this course before enrolling in other

On-going classes for beginners. Learn fundamental postures and breathing for continued growth in yoga. This dynamic class is recommended for the average beginner and continuing student.
