Dedicated to the teachings of Sri BKS Iyengar
Dear Friend in Yoga,
Sleigh bells ring, are you listening? It is that time again and more important than ever to take the time daily to quiet your mind - to just listen, just be. There is a tremendous amount of scientific research that verifies the importance of this ancient wisdom. The many benefits bestowed upon us by taking a few minutes to "just listen" run deep.
The practice of Iyengar Yoga is a superb means to this end. Yoga guides us from our periphery to our core. It is clear and simple, but requires us to develop determination and discipline to succeed. Yoga motivates us to help ourselves to live with joy and equanimity in the face of life's many swings, be it daily crisis or holiday cheer.
Hope to see you in class soon - among other things, to simply sit and "listen".
Namaste and blessings this holiday season and coming New Year.
Dean & Rebecca
